PACIFIC Sensor Technologies has released a transient pressure data recorder which can trigger recording on preset limits.
Often, maintenance personnel need to capture transient events at a high sample rate. These events could be erratically spread over a long period of time, making data recording difficult.
The PRTrans1000IS Transient pressure data recorder samples up to 100Hz, but will only trigger on pressure limits set beforehand. The trigger can be set on high or low thresholds.
Operators can also choose to end the trigger after a set number of samples, or when the signal crosses over a stop threshold.
The data recorder can record up to 255 events, and take as many as 262,143 pressure samples.
The device is suited for oil, gas, and water applications, with water hammers, compressors, pumps, pneumatics, lubrication systems, waste water treatmenet and HVAC.
