EXIMO has developed a ducting technology which deals with a problem often encountered by maintenance personnel.

The Speedlock Telescopic is designed to close the gap at the end of ducting system. According to the company, many plants and factories are affected by this phenomenon, and the product will save time during duct systems fitout.

The telescopic ducting has an exact one metre or 0.5m gap at the end of a run. If there is a gap in the ducting, the telescopic can be used to give a sealed join that does not move.

Installation involves loosening a lever lock, sliding out the inside telescopic section, joining both ends of the rest of the duct, and then clamping off the lever lock. According to the company, it does not involve cutting, welding, or forming flanges.
