PARTICLE and Surface Sciences is now distributing aerosol filter testing solutions from DOP Solutions for HEPA filters.
According to Particle and Surface Sciences, the new product range means it now provides a complete solution for filter and clean-room testing.
HEPA filters are installed in many industrial environments and applications, and there is a globally standardised method for testing them.
This involves using an aerosol generator to produce an oil aerosol. This is introduced into an airstream which passes through the HEPA filter. An aerosol photometer is then used to measure the amount of aerosol in the air upstream and downstream of the filter.
This testing method provides results regarding the performance of the HEPA filter, identifying leaks in the frame, seals or media.
Particle and Surface Sciences says the new product range includes ancillary equipment to inject, mix and sample the aerosol, such as positive injection pumps, injection ports, sparge pipes, sample ports and scanning probes.
Particle and Surface Sciences also distributes lighthouse particle counters and real-time contamination monitoring systems.
