BESTECH Australia is now distributing VIP Sensors’ miniature piezoelectric accelerometer.
The 1021B is designed for shock and vibration measurements on small structures and objects and is suitable for factory maintenance.
The unit weighs only 1.4g which minimises or eliminates any mass loading effects on the object being tested.
The manufacturer says the accelerometer is a high-impedance, self-generating device that requires no external power source for operation.
The operating temperature range of the miniature accelerometer is -40 degrees Celsius to 150degrees Celsius, and linearity is less than 1%. The unit can withstand shocks of up to 5000 g pk.
