SIEMENS has launched the HVAC Integrated Tool to simplify the planning and design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning plants.
The tool is a selection and sizing tool for quickly specifying a field device according to a set of parameters. It allows users to choose from the manufacturer’s complete range of controllers, valves, actuators, sensors, thermostats and variable speed drives.
The solution includes a library of over 300 pre-configured HVAC applications, guiding the user to a comprehensive specification, creating a plant diagram, list of material, technical documentation and pricing.
The project management modules included in the product allows plant designs to be re-used or modified. Stored data can be used to generate tendering documents in Microsoft Word or product lists in Excel.
