Advances in the electronics used in industrial applications have resulted in greater heat generation. Heat in LEDs can cause the light to change in appearance, so red and white lights can look almost blue. This could present problems where light emitting diodes are used for status indications.
Insufficient thermal management can also result in catastrophic failure. As such, this heat needs to be drawn away from the components quickly and efficiently to ensure reliable and efficient equipment.
Electrolube has a range of thermal management solutions, including TCR, a high strength Room Temperature Vulcanising (RTV) silicone sealant, UR5562, a water white polyurethane resin and DCA, a modified silicone conformal coating.
