EATON says its ETA ATB8 stainless steel floor mount control and equipment single door cabinets have been fully certified for IP66 ingress protection.
According to Eaton, the IP66 certification means its ATB8 stainless steel cabinets are now ideally suited for environments where moisture or dust ingress may be an issue. The cabinets can now be used in food processing, corrosive environments and outdoor applications, including mining and ship loading terminals.
Eaton ATB8 cabinets were previously certified for IP55. The cabinets are available in both 304 and 316L grade stainless steel, and the range includes 12 standard sizes.
The cabinets come with widths of 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm, heights of 1600mm, 1800mm and 2000mm and depths of 400mm or 500mm.
The ATB8 range is supplied complete with mounting plate, cable entry gland plate and locking system. Other accessories such as plinths and lifting eyebolts can be fitted to the enclosure for various applications.
