Compressed Air Consulting and Supply Australia launches Oak Desiccant dryer

  • Published: 25/09/2009

COMPRESSED Air Consulting and Supply Australia has launched the Oak Desiccant compressed air dryer.

According Compressed Air Consulting and Supply, the Oak Desiccant is manufactured in Bundaberg, and is construction from hot-dipped galvanised steel and stainless steel.

The Oak Desiccant compressed air dryer is suited for airflows of up to 150cfm and is ideally suited to dusty installations such as concrete batching plants where the use of refrigerated dryers is not recommended due to the build up of dust on cooling fins.

In laser profile cutters or spray painting applications, the Oak Desiccant dryer can attain dew points of below zero. This means no water will be present in the compressed air downstream of the dryer, unless the temperature in the process falls below zero degrees.

Compressed Air Consulting and Supply Australia also manufactures desiccant tablets for the air dryer. A 10kg bucket of tablets will last approximately 12 months when used against a 10HP compressor.

The Oak Desiccant dryers have no moving parts, and consume no electricity.
