CHAMPION Compressors has released the AirMetrix System Assessment tool which can help industry identify areas of waste in compressed air systems.
According to Champion Compressors, AirMetrix allows targeted improvement measures to reduce operating costs and environmental impacts associated with compressed air processes.
The AirMetrix auditing tool comprises Champion’s LogAir data-logging hardware, a SystemWizard software component that provides a full life-cycle evaluation of the compressed-air installation, plus SysteMate, which collects real-time accurate system performance data.
Champion Compressors says the AirMetrix system uses a true kW power meter with the ability to correct for power factor and voltage, eliminating the inaccuracies associated with simple Amp meter current measurement.
