DIGI has released a solution for centralising building monitoring by integrating security system control panels with existing network infrastructure.
Traditional security centralising systems provided real-time monitoring and management by installing dedicated PC workstations in each facility, with modem links connecting multiple locations to a central management system.
According to the company, its solution allows every security control panel to share information via existing network infrastructure. This allows remote access without the need for dedicated on-site PC workstations.
A central monitoring and management station can collect and consolidate information over the network in near real-time.
Digi claims existing security applications can be quickly migrated to its fully networked system.
