COST Effective Maintenance says its combustion catalyst can help increase the efficiency of fuel-powered factory equipment and vehicles.
Combustion and exhaust spaces such as turbochargers can be clogged up with carbon, reducing the ventilation to the engine, causing poor fuel atomisation and reduced power.
The solution provider says the engine problems are related to other productivity-slashing malfunctions, because inefficient burning of fuels can cause increased particulate emissions, which settle on other equipment parts.
Sludge and deposits reduce the efficiency of lubrication and cause extra internal drag. Sticking piston rings can also cause compression loss in hydraulic-driven equipment, impacting power and increasing running costs.
According to the company, its FTC Decarboniser catalyst can correct the engine problems by providing finer fuel atomisation and improved power and fuel economy.
