CAPS Australia has released Ingersoll Rand’s R-Series 90 to 110kW rotary screw air compressors in Australia.
The range includes an integrated Progressive Adaptive Control (PAC) system which continuously monitors key operating parameters.
The company claims the system will adapt to changes to prevent unexpected downtime from extreme situations or maintenance oversights.
When the control system detects clogging or fouling of the filtration system on a variable speed unit, it will display a real time warning and maintenance indicator. As the situation worsens, it reduces the airflow to prevent overloading the compressor cooling system, instead of shutting down the equipment.
The R-Series is available in four options. The fixed speed units have single-stage or two-stage airends.
The variable speed units are available with similar airend configurations, and are driven by a Nirvana Hybrid Permanent Magnet motor.
