ENERPAC has released advanced technology bolting pumps which allows users to simultaneously operate up to four torque wrenches.
According to the company, the ZU4T hydraulic pumps are designed specifically for bolting applications. They come with a four-wrench manifold which can be factory fitted or ordered separately.
The portable pumps weigh between 32 to 36kg, and can be used for all major brands of 700 and 800 bar single-acting and double-acting torque wrenches, with auto-cycle for continuous cycle operations.
Coupling is said to be quick and secure, with Parker spin-on-couplers for 700 bar models and Enerpac lock-ring couplers for 800 bar models.
The two-speed pumps are said to be cooler running, with higher oil flow and 85 bar bypass pressure, drawing 18% less current than comparable units. More heat can be removed from the bypass oil via an optional heat exchanger part.
