BOGE has launched its ‘airtelligence’ PROVIS energy optimisation system, said to realise optimised operating costs, reduced maintenance costs and increased energy efficiency.
According to Boge, the ‘airtelligence’ PROVIS energy optimisation system is integrated into compressed air systems with multiple compressors.
Boge claims compressed air is one area in the factory which can turn around quick and significant energy related reductions in costs.
If the system consists of more than one compressor, integrating an the ‘airtelligence’ PROVIS energy optimisation system to control and monitor the compressed air system can help achieve sustainable compressed air related energy efficiency.
The Boge ‘airtelligence’ PROVIS energy management system is a consumption-based multi-compressor optimisation system which can control, manage and optimise up to 16 compressors of any make or model.
The airtelligence PROVIS system monitors all the compressors within the system, and continuously adapts to changes in compressed air demand. This allows systematic and predictive control of the system, minimising costly off load running whilst optimising pressure.
The system also provides an online visualisation programme for continually management and monitoring of the compressed air system at any time and in any place. The tool provides reports on flow volume and operating status of all compressors in the system to maintenance intervals, error alerts and energy consumption and costs.
