Biodegradable but powerful cleaner

  • Published: 23/06/2010

QUICKLEEN will showcase its environmentally friendly, locally-made cleaner on Stand 7010 during the 2010 Queensland Mining and Engineering (QME) exhibition.

According to the company, the product is 11 times more powerful than caustic soda. It can be used to clean stainless steel, copper, brass, silver, aluminium and other metals, as well as glass, painted walls, porcelain and ceramic tiles.

The cleaner can remove rust, burn marks, mildew, mould, grease and heat discolouration stains. It is however safe to use and touch.

The manufacturer says the chemical does not contain phosphorous, requires no gloves during use, does not generate fumes or odours, and is applied with a wipe-on, wipe-off method.

The cleaning product incorporates an organic sanitiser, and is said to be biodegradable and non-toxic.
