GENERAL Mat Company has released new anti-fatigue and safety
mats suited for wet and dry areas of workplaces.
The GMC Workmate No 824 mat has large holes for draining, and 12mm-thick soft rubber construction, said to enhance comfort in industrial workstations, maintenance benches and food preparation and service areas.
Wide borders and bevelled edges provide enhanced safety and stability. It can be combined with the company’s solid top matting systems, allowing its use in wet and greasy areas.
The modular mat systems plug together using hidden interlocks, allowing the solutions to fit into spaces of different shapes.
The Workmate No 824 has been tested by the CSIRO and found to pass the tests on wet and dry surfaces to AS/NZS 4585:1999.
