AKRON Brass Company will be showcasing its severe-duty water cannons at Queensland Mining and Engineering exhibition.
According to Akron Brass Company, the water cannons are designed for dust suppression, cleaning and fire fighting.
The range includes electric or hydraulic water cannons; manual, PLC-controlled or fully automated washdown facility water cannons; and high-performance fire nozzles.
The Severe-Duty products can prevent maintenance and reliability problems caused by cannon failure, and overcome poor stream performance issues from existing cannons.
The nozzles are electrically, hydraulically or manually operated, with options for in-built stream shapers, internal foam eductors, adjustable flow and foam settings, as well as a range of flow rates, working pressures, reach and orifice sizes to suit individual applications.
