TRANSFIELD Services says its joint venture Transfield Worley TRAGS has won US$100m ($133m) in maintenance and shutdown work with Qatar-based RasGas.
This is in addition to the April announcement of US$17m ($22.6m) worth of shutdown work.
Transfield Services will deliver the shutdown component of the work, while the Transfield Worley TRAGS joint venture will complete the maintenance component concurrently.
According to Transfield Services, a key reason for its win is its global systems and ability to manage complex projects and workforces.
Transfield Services has provided consolidated maintenance and project services to RasGas’ Qatar-based LNG facilities through its joint venture Transfield Worley TRAGS since November 2004.
