Sustainability National Forum

SIRF Roundtables is organising the Sustainability National Forum which will take place from 7 to 8 September 2010.

The two day event will encourage learning and exchange of ideas between practitioners of sustainable change.

On the day after the forum and exhibition, there will be a tour of the GlaxoSmithKline, Siemens and Melbourne Zoo facilities.

The Boronia GlaxoSmithKline site includes a manufacturing plant said to be the largest GSK sterile facility globally. It houses blow-fill-seal technology, eight filling machine, six packaging lines, and 10 tableting lines.

It features water conservation initiatives, waste management and the largest privately owned native garden in Victoria.
