PROGRAMMED Maintenance Services is planning to acquire KLM Group, and will leverage its services and products as a standalone subsidiary.
According to KLM, the last two years have been a challenging and difficult period. Though it has implemented a new ERP system, it has been impacted by loss incurring contracts and the downturn in the commercial construction sector.
Programmed Maintenance Services says KLM is an important acquisition, and it intends to retain the 700 KLM staff and its range of services and products, including electrical and lighting, data and communications, environmental and energy auditing, energy maintenance and security and surveillance.
If the acquisition is successful, the KLM head office will remain in Melbourne, and Programmed Maintenance Services will look at opportunities for KLM to leverage its services across Programmed’s customers and business divisions.
