Pacific Environment acquires resource use monitoring company

PACIFIC Environment (PEL) has agreed to acquire EcoVision, along with all of that company’s monitoring solutions.

EcoVision is the developer and owner of a real-time electricity, water and gas usage monitoring system. According to the companies, the monitoring technology is suited for large-scale industrial and commercial applications, but can be scaled down fro residential use.

Given the discussions regarding carbon emissions, PEL says its acquisition will enable its clients to effectively manage their energy, water and gas demands. The products will also enhance the company’s existing product capabilities in energy, carbon and emissions risk management.

The company says it will be commercialising and marketing the EcoVision products upon conclusion of the acquisition.
