Maintenance engineering firm leaps ahead

RCR Tomlinson has secured four engineering projects worth more than $47m in Australia, providing equipment, construction and overhauling services.

According to the company, its Construction and Maintenance business units have seen an increase in activity of 200% in the quarter since January 2008.

The engineering firm will be providing site electrical and mechanical minor construction works for two years for $10m per year, delivering new equipment to Western Australia for $22.3m, designing, manufacturing and supplying a lignite fired boiler to New Zealand, and performing an electrical and mechanical overhaul of a dragline for Eagle Engineering.
