THE 9th International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Working Fluids will be held in Sydney from 12 to 14 April 2010.
The 9th IIR Gustav Lorentzen Conference has the theme of “natural refrigerants — real alternatives”. It will focus on the latest research results and advances related to the use of natural refrigerants in refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pump systems and more.
According to the IIR and AIRAH, this will be the first time the conference is held at the southern hemisphere.
The 9th IIR Gustav Lorentzen Conference will gather professionals in the field and to discuss the latest in research, technologies, case studies, practical applications, the future of natural refrigerants, world’s best practice relating to energy efficiency, reduction of carbon emissions and more.
Topics to be covered include natural primary refrigerants, secondary coolants and ice slurries, sorption systems, non conventional refrigeration systems, heat transfer and fluid flow, and energy use and energy efficiency of natural working fluid systems.
The organisers are calling for papers on indirect cooling, industrial refrigeration, heat transfer and heat exchangers, legal and risk management, emission and energy savings, the future of refrigeration, sorption systems, lubricants, and sustainable heating and cooling.
