FLUKE Australia is promoting its Fluke 289 industrial trending digital multimeter with an animated video.
The video, purportedly set in a ‘secret industrial complex’, is titled ‘Mission 10,000 Readings’. It involves an operator furtively using the Fluke 289 digital multimeter to collect information, while trying to dodge armed security.
According to Fluke, the video, while being a bit of fun, also accurately portrays the capabilities of the Fluke 289 industrial trending digital multimeter, which can be attached to circuits to record events without a user being present.
Fluke claims the decreased staffing and greater work load in today’s economy means the Fluke 289 digital multimeter is like having another electrician on staff. The user can later review the saved data on the meter’s large display to spot anomalies and identify trends.
The collected data can also be downloaded to a PC, for working with the FlukeView forms software. This allows the data to be used to create custom graphs and reports.
