FLIR is merging its Commercial Vision Systems and Thermography divisions, creating FLIR Commercial Systems.
According to the company, the new division will continue to focus on the commercial and industrial markets, and will exploit the commonalities in distribution, customers and strategic infrared product development.
In Australia, the merged body will be involved in condition monitoring, research and development, manufacturing process control, as well as various security and observation applications.
