ENERGYWISE says industrial users can reduce their energy consumption by installing The Ark Energy Saving Unit.
According to Energywise, there are already 150 units installed in Australia, and the technology has been endorsed by numerous government funding programs.
Energywise claims The Ark Energy Saving Unit can provide electricity savings of up to 20% across a whole site, reduce maintenance costs for equipment and machinery, and also result in carbon emissions savings.
The Ark is a voltage optimisation device. Energywise says approximately 90% buildings in Australia receive voltage in excess of the levels that machinery and equipment is designed to operate at.
This oversupply results in inefficient operation, energy losses and wasted electricity consumption. Energywise claims The Ark technology optimises the voltage to a level which enables end-use equipment to run more efficiently.
The Ark can also provide voltage phase balancing, harmonics filtering and power factor improvements, refining and optimising the raw power quality supplied by the network.
The Ark has a ten year warranty and 30+ year projected lifespan.
