Energy Efficiency Opportunities workshops help preparations for green paradigm

THE FEDERAL Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism has opened registrations for its 2009 Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEO) workshops.

According to the DRET, the 2009 EEO workshops will provide a forum which will share the experiences and lessons learnt over 200 corporate energy efficiency assessments.

The 2009 EEO workshops will include presentations by industry representatives, and policy updates from senior government officials.

The Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism says participants will be equipped to plan for and implement their responses to Energy Efficiency Opportunities, the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System and the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.

The 2009 EEO workshops will take place between 5 to 29 May 2009 in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. More information about the workshops and registrations is available at the website.
