Dolomatrix acquires Veolia’s packaged chemical waste business

DOLOMATRIX International has acquired Veolia’s Sydney-based packaged chemical waste business for $2.2m.

According to Dolomatrix, the acquired business will improve the sustainability and diversification of its revenues. It will complement its Chemsal division’s St Mary’s operation.

Chemsal and Veolia have also entered into an exclusive supply agreement whereby Veolia will continue to provide marketing and sales support to DMX for the packaged chemical waste business.

DoloMatrix specialises in the destruction of environmentally hazardous wastes, resource recovery of fluorescent and halogen lamps, discarded metal and plastic packaging. It also offers specialist recycling and chemical handling services.
