EXAIR has released Long Super Air Knives for drying and cleaning application, said to also reduce the use of compressed air.
The EXAIR Long Super Air Knives, available from Compressed Air Australia, produce a laminar sheet of airflow in order to blow off, dry, or cool wide surfaces of up to 2438mm. The design is said to be compact and energy efficient, entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air.
Compressed Air Australia says the Long Super Air Knives are suited for use on wide parts, webs and conveyors.
The EXAIR Long Super Air Knives provide a curtain of air which can be adjusted from gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air. The profile measures 45mm by 37mm, with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom.
Long Super Air Knives are available in 1524mm, 1829mm, 2134mm and 2438mm lengths, and arrive fully assembled. They can be constructed of aluminium, Type 303 stainless steel, or Type 316 stainless steel.
