CHAMPION Compressors is now sole authorised distributor and maintenance service provider for Cameron Compression Systems’ equipment in Australia.
This distribution agreement also includes the provision of parts, servicing and commissioning of Cameron compressors. Champion’s company headquarters in Melbourne will facilitate the service and support for the equipment, both new and old.
Champion will distribute Cameron’s centrifugal compressor range spanning from 110kW to 1600kW. Larger units will be available on request.
According to Cameron, Champion was chosen for its reliability and reputation as a compressed-air equipment manufacturer.
The Cameron centrifugal compressor is suited where oil-free air compressors are required, making them useful for food, manufacturing, breweries, and pharmaceutical processes.
Centrifugal compressors are also said to be more economical in terms of energy usage and maintenance in applications requiring 500kW or more. The units are also suited for on- and off-shore oil and gas applications.
