ARGUS Solutions will enter into a joint venture with ThorSol, a provider of sensors, products and systems for asset management, OH&S, engineering and advanced technology development applications.
According to Argus, it will have a 51% controlling interest in a joint venture with ThorSol. This move will allow Argus access to wider sales capabilities, and complementary products within its client sector.
Argus and ThorSol will integrate their sales and marketing resources, cross-sell each other’s products, and help enhance each other’s technology resources.
Argus Solutions focuses on facility access control. It has developed iris recognition software and facial recognition software to help secure high-tech military and industrial facilities.
